The Royal Agricultural Show has a venue for 2026. The General Manager of the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) in KwaZulu-Natal, Wayne Muller, confirmed the date and venue of the 2026 Royal Agricultural Show.
“The RAS is pleased to announce that the 2026 Royal Agricultural Show will take place at Tweedie Hall in Howick from 29 May to 3 June, 2026, he said.”
Tweedie Hall is a historic property in the KZN Midlands, built in 1892, and has been a function and event venue for some time. It was declared a Provincial Heritage Site in 1989.
“As a new home for the Royal Agricultural Show in 2026, we will be able to host and exhibit the best of KZN and South Africa’s agriculture and related commerce and industry,” he pointed out.
In 2024, the RAS moved from its home of 122 years in Pietermaritzburg after refocusing the Royal Show to become an agriculture-specific event.
The organisation is planning a landmark event at Tweedie Hall in 2026 to celebrate the RAS’s 175th anniversary. Muller promised that more details will be released as arrangements progress.
The Royal Agricultural Society of Natal, a private non-profit organisation, is run largely by volunteers and supports agriculture, the agricultural industry, and related commercial activities in the interests of the community.
