Plaas TV het weereens vir interessante kykstof gesorg hierdie Desember en vandag is #kykweervrydag. Hier is ’n opsomming van die episodes sover:
- Die wenner van die 2022 MPO Nedbank Rentmeesterskapstoekenning is verlede week tydens ’n galadinee by Casa Toscana Lodge in Pretoria aangekondig. Plaas TV het ook dié geleentheid bygewoon, so bly ingeskakel vir ‘n insetsel hieroor.
- South Africa’s land reform policy remains highly contested. The Department of Agricultural Economics at Stellenbosch University and Agbiz published an essay debunking five myths about farming and land reform in South Africa. Prof Johann Kirsten and Wandile Sihlobo shed some light on this, in today’s episode of Plaas TV.
- The Agricultural business chamber recently held their annual media day in Pretoria. The theme was “Searching for green shoots in 2023”. Plaas TV spoke to a few role-players after the event, so stay tuned for more on this.
- The level of funding needs to increase and put to better use to control and combat the spreading of invasive plants. Prof Brian van Wilgen from Stellenbosch University sheds some light on this matter.
