#kykweervrydag Plaas TV 26 Junie – 30 Junie 2023

  • It is #Research within the ARC today which means it is time to once again become acquainted with the research projects conducted by the team at the Agricultural Research Council. This week we visit the ARC-Biotechnology platform campus in Onderstepoort to learn more about their work.

The Royal Show is Africa’s largest mixed agricultural show. This annual ten-day event was held in May in Pietermaritzburg and is well-known for showcasing the country’s finest livestock and agricultural equipment. This year the event coincided with the Royal Agricultural Society’s 172nd anniversary. It also marks the last year that the show will be held in its current form, and at its historical Old Howick Road Home in Pietermaritzburg. The Plaas TV team also attended this event.
