Hierdie week het Plaas TV weereens vir interessante kykstof gesorg en vandag is #kykweervrydag. Hier is ’n opsomming van dié week se episodes:
- Today marks the first episode of Plaas TV in its brand-new format! We celebrate this short on the heels of International Seed Day that was held on 26 April 2023. The theme for this year was: To test or not to test? Lesiba Ledwaba of the ARC gives some perspective on this.

- Renosterstroping is ‘n onderwerp wat heelwat aandag kry, en met goeie rede. ’n Verskeidenheid tegnologieë soos volgbandjies en termiese kameras word in teenstropingsoperasie-kommunikasie gebruik. Die risiko van kuberaanvalle gaan egter met hierdie tegnologieë gepaard. Kyk nou na ’n insetsel hieroor.
- Mense se gesondheid is afhanklik van die gesondheid van ons diere en omgewing – dit is die hartklop van die wêreldwye One Health-konsep. Plaas TV skop vandag af met ’n reeks oor die beginsels van hierdie konsep, en in hierdie eerste aflewering gesels dr Chris van Dijk hieroor. - Lukas Lessing van Marquard is onlangs as Vrystaat Landbou se jongboer vir 2023 aangewys. Sy passie is die saaivertakking wat uit mielies, sonneblomme en sojabone bestaan. Plaas TV gesels met hom oor sy boerderybenadering.
- It is #ResearchFriday which means it is time to once again become acquainted with the research projects conducted by the team at the Agricultural Research Council. This week we visit the ARC Agricultural Engineering campus in Silverton, Pretoria to learn more about their work.
