A video recently travelled across social media in which the United States Secretary of Agriculture shares some thoughts on US agriculture and the important yet criticised role it plays. This is without a doubt a universal message to be taken seriously by agriculturalists and consumers alike. The key message is centred around this quote: “Everyone of us that’s not a farmer, is not a farmer because we have farmers. We delegate the responsibility of feeding our families to a relatively small percentage of this country.”
