Book your seat for the Agbiz Grain Symposium

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

The Agbiz Grain symposium will take place over four days from 5 to 8 September 2023. Each day will have one session of three hours from 09:00 to 12:00. The format will be a panel discussion with four to  five panellists each and a skilled facilitator will moderate the discussion. We discourage the use of presentations as we are interested in the views and experiences of our panellists on each topic.

1. Registration is free to attend in person in the Grain Building auditorium. However, we reserve places for our financial supporters, Agbiz Grain Steering Committee members, associate members, and key sector representatives.

2. By default, everyone attends online, and participation is free. Some 50 places are reserved for our financial supporters, members of the Agbiz Grain steering committee, associate members, and key sector representatives of Grain SA, NCM, AFMA, SACOTA, SACB) who have a strong interest in the topic of the day. The panel on the third day (Thursday) will only be global participants dialling in online from the United States, France, UK, and Australia. There are 25 seats available in the Brand Republic studio for this session.

3. Only five seats are reserved for the media.

This format allows our employees and their clients across South Africa to selectively attend the session of their choice. It is less disruptive to their day-to-day operations and more cost-effective. Most importantly, the symposium will address the key issues facing the storage industry. Your support and participation will help us to identify the problem areas and/or opportunities that we need to address over the next two years.
