Avo market expecting larger volumes

Ine Potting of Scherpenhuizen believes the market can handle more avocados this summer. Ine was appointed as Global Sourcing Director at the Dutch fruit and vegetable wholesaler, Scherpenhuizen earlier this year. Expectations are that countries like Mexico, Peru and South Africa will bring 20% more production. “At Fruit Logistica I noticed there was still some scepticism about the market prospects.
